Certified Tutor

Hey guys! I am currently a rising senior at Penn State studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Information Sciences and Technology. Being an engineer, I focus on tutoring students in Math related subjects, ranging anywhere from the basics of algebra to the more advanced calculus courses that prepare students for college. Besides teaching myself the advanced math concepts I have to learn in university, I am also an accredited tutor for Penn State! I not only tutor high-school students, but college students as well, so I have plenty of experiences when it comes to tutoring. My main approach when tutoring that distinguishes me is that I allow my students to make mistakes and then let them come to their own conclusion that they did. If they understand where they went wrong, they are far less likely to repeat it in the future. It is my hope that I can work with students hand in hand and show them that math is really not that daunting of a subject if looked at in a proper lens. Eventually, I want my students to develop their critical thinking skills to help them overcome difficulties in studies now and later on in university.
