In addition, I am a recipient of the Eccles Scholarship, which is a highly competitive program that is reserved for those that display exemplary academics, ethics and leadership.

I spend much of my time practicing and performing music; during the academic year I study the bassoon as a great portion of my music degree, and I play 3rd bassoon/contrabassoon in my University's Philharmonia and Wind Ensemble. In addition, during the summer I play a lot of euphonium as a member of the world renowned Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps based out of Denver, Colorado. Beyond music, I enjoy relaxing by cooking and baking for my friends and family.
