I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in December 2016. My bachelor's is in English and I double majored in English and Spanish, with a minor in Psychology. Since graduation, I have worked as a Spanish Supplemental Instruction Leader (a tutor for large groups of people) and as a high school summer English teacher. Based on my experiences working in education and having gone through the education system myself, I see how education can profoundly impact the lives of everyone in a community and in society. I believe that quality education can change communities and the world. I have high expectations for my students and tutees. That is because I believe we can always be better than we believe ourselves to be.
In my free time, I like to learn web design, write, and draw.
