I enjoy teaching others the necessary skills they need to be successful in their educational studies. I have a B.S in accounting from Xavier University of Louisiana and am currently working towards obtaining my CPA. I have over 10 years experience as a tutor and mentor. I started tutoring my peers while in middle school and realized that I had a gift that needed to be shared with others. I, too, had a tutor while in the 6th grade. She taught me all the fundamental skills needed to excel in all my math classes. I went to her daily for a year and after that, I was unstoppable when it came to learning new strategies.

I believe that any individual who struggles with math at an early age only needs that extra motivation to excel. I remember those days when I would leave school feeling defeated because I did not understand or grasp the material that was taught. My teaching methods vary depending on the student but I have never had a student did not see improvement in their grades. Having the opportunity to help students overcome their struggles and obstacles in their educational studies gives my students a chance to be successful in life which allows me to help one more person achieve their goals in life. I have experience tutoring all math and accounting related subjects. I look forward to helping improve the confidence and skills of each student I work with. I ensure I will show patience, use effective and proven teaching strategies, always displaying professionalism.
