As a journalism student at the University of Central Florida I want to use all of my talents and knowledge in order to help others. I want to help students who may be struggling in certain areas and just need someone who can find a way to make the material simple and fun. I believe in always trying to find a way to make school fun. I'm also originally from Bogota, Colombia and have lived in the United States for about 15 years. I enjoy meeting people from different places and cultures and hope to one day be an international investigative reporter.

What is your teaching philosophy?
If you can find a way to make the problem relate to something in real life, there is nothing impossible to learn.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Get to know their strengths and weaknesses and how they learn best.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Set them up with the tools that they can carry on later in life.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Always remind them that the key to education isn't always grades but what you learned.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Have patience and come up with a better way to explain the concept/idea.
