I've always been passionate about sharing knowledge with students. I love learning new things, and I really enjoy helping students do the same. The best part about helping students is that I learn new ideas from them as well!Being a teacher has been my goal since I was a kid. All through high school and college, I tutored students, mostly math topics. I also did some student teaching while earning my degree. Since then, I have had the chance to teach college courses along with tutoring students online. Right now I help with some online math courses targeted at students from other countries. I like to keep students involved by asking questions. I also want my students to ask me questions. Together we work together to put the ideas in the simplest terms.I enjoy activities that involve problem solving, like jigsaw puzzles. I also like baking treats, and eating them! Plus I'm a big fan of board games and trivia nights with friends.

Since late high school I have had a regular teaching commitment, whether it was helping younger students prepare for standardized tests or TA'ing for college courses. I can tutor very effectively across a variety of math, computer science, and statistics subjects, but am most passionate and have the most 1-on-1 experience in probability and statistics and test prep. In 2012, I graduated from New York University where I studied Dance and Psychology. After graduating, I performed internationally with a modern dance company. I now aim to obtain a PhD in neuroscience and have three years research experience studying epilepsy pathology. I am immensely passionate about understanding the natural world and tutoring allows me to pass that drive on to others.
