I was educated in China and the United States. Having taken many mathematics courses in both countries, I learned many ways to solve math problems by using strategies learned in both cultures. Therefore my background, in both learning and teaching math, is very strong.

I have always had a knack for seeing multiple solutions to a given problem (even receiving a little gag award for our fifth grade graduation, titled: "I have a better way to do that" award).
