In regards to English language, I would be happy to help you with your college application essays. I recently graduated from Cornell University and am current a graduate student in Columbia University's Graduate School for English.
Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have helped many students formulate and write their personal statement. Additionally, I have written many of my own personal statements which have helped me gain university admission and scholarship. Therefore, I understand how stressful it can be to write a personal statement and supplementary statements for colleges.
I truly believe a well formulated personal statement can make an application stand out and garner momentum to help colleges view the applicant as an individual rather than gpa data. I will make sure your essay reflects your particularity and illustrate what makes you a great fit for [insert dream school name].
In regards to mathematics, I have always loved the subject and have tutored maths and physics for over 8 years up to the AP BC calculus level.
I believe mathematics is very easy if taught correctly. Teachers and professors who have been teaching a math for many years may grow accustomed to their own teaching styles. Therefore, they may assume that a student remembers a specific concept, and rather than going over said concept, they hastily build upon misunderstood fundamentals.
When I was in university, I understand that maths can be challenging for a lot of people because teacher and professors may explain math as if they are talking to other mathematicians. Teachers often do not realized that their students are new to math and are not yet scholars.
Please feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to working with you.
