I am a college graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering. During my four and a half years of undergraduate education at the University at Buffalo, I tutored students at a math learning center on campus. Before starting, I took a tutoring certification course with Crossroads of Learning. Since then, I have tutored in both one-on-one and group settings. I have tutored many subjects in mathematics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I am very passionate about learning, and believe that each student is capable of learning any subject that they desire to learn. Because I love learning so much, I enjoy being able to be a part of the process for students that happen to struggle in certain subjects. I understand that every student has a different learning style. I try to discover what methods work best for each student I tutor, and I tailor my teaching style to that particular student's needs. In addition to mathematics and puzzles, music is a large part of my life. In my free time, I write music. I play the guitar and banjo, as well as read and write poetry. Since graduating, I have been working as an intern at a recording studio in Manhattan. While there, I learn about the very intricate arts of recording and mixing.
