I'm currently a senior at Vanderbilt double majoring in history and business, while also preparing for the LSAT exam. I've tutored several different subject areas, but I can make the most impact assisting students with history, reading, and writing. I am a Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology graduate and currently attend Vanderbilt University majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Business. I completed my Bachelor???s at the University of South Florida with an honors thesis on the current research in the field of linguistic relativity among bilinguals. My research interests include literacy, the relationship between cognition and language, and the history of language. My other interests include public speaking and volunteering. My goal is to become a Ph.D. researcher after I obtain my Certificate of Clinical Competence as a speech therapist. I tutor a wide variety of ages in a range of subjects, including but not limited to test preparation, latin, philosophy, and writing. I try to incorporate research-based techniques and methods into my tutoring whenever possible.
