About Me

As a half Japanese, half Korean American pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University, I bring a unique perspective to tutoring. With over two years of experience in STEM subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Physics, I am passionate about helping students grasp complex concepts through logical reasoning. My tutoring journey began at 14, assisting elementary students in Japan and later organizing STEM tutoring sessions in high school. I believe in fostering a friendly and engaging learning environment, where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts. My goal is to instill confidence and a deep understanding of mathematics, empowering students to succeed academically and develop their problem-solving skills. (I took IB Math AI HL and Physics HL, so I love to help out future IB students)
