About Me

I have wanted to help make a difference in a child's education my entire life. I am currently studying to become an Elementary School Teacher and cannot wait to help you with what you might struggle with. We all have our struggles but with a little help and practice, they can become a strength. I graduated from Georgian Court University in May of 2022 with my Bachelor of Arts in English with a writing minor. I am currently in my final semester of Graduate school at Georgian Court University as an Elementary Education Major and will gain my certification in Special Education in December upon graduation. I have previously worked as a tutor for my University where I helped fellow undergraduates with their English course work and other courses that I felt confident in such as History. I have also spent the past year as a substitute within an Elementary school and even completed a Paternity position for the Music Teacher! I tutor in a variety of subjects. Within the Elementary School level, I tutor in Math, Reading, English, Science, Writing, Social Studies, Kindergarten Readiness, Reading Fundamentals, and Reading Comprehension. At the Middle School level, I tutor in English, Reading, Reading Comprehension, and Writing. At the High School level, I tutor in English, Writing, Reading, and College Application Essays. I also tutor in British Literature, American Literature, Comparative Literature, Creative Writing, English Grammar and Syntax, Intro to Fiction, Intro to Poetry, Poetry, Productivity, Short Stories: Fairytales, World Literature, and Writing. I also specialize in Microsoft Office products such as Word and PowerPoint as well as Google products such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides. My favorite subjects to tutor are anything that relates to literature as there is not one correct answer within literature; as long as you can provide evidence to support your claim, you can prove nearly anything within an English paper. The possibilities are endless. I personally believe that as a tutor (and as a teacher) I am working to make sure that you have all of the tools available to pass any subject needed. I will make sure that you are prepared and ready for the future ahead. There are things in this world that I have not mastered and I am always willing to learn from you as you learn from me. We never stop learning and the sole thing that I am here to do is to make sure that I help you in any sort of way possible to ensure your success.
