About Me

I am a graduate of Cornell University, and I received my Bachelor of Sciences in Human Development with a minor in theater. I am currently a Kindergarten teacher through Teach for America in New York City, and working towards a Masters in the Art of Teaching. Throughout college, I had various tutoring and classroom experience, including tutoring 3rd and 8th graders in English, as well as volunteering in Pre-K through 3rd grade classrooms. I also tutored college students in Introductory Psychology. I have experience with students with special needs, including ADHD and Autism. I am incredibly passionate about education and developing the next generation of inquisitive and enthusiastic learners. I believe that social-emotional learning is crucial for academic success, and that tutoring should be fun and include student choice/interest. In my spare time, I enjoy theater, dance, comedy, and music.
