About Me

I am currently a Biology Pre-Med student at Kent State University and I am getting my minor in ASL. I work as a tutor both here and for my college and am working towards getting my CRLA Level 1 certification. I enjoy teaching and I hope to be able to help as many people as possible; my goal for the future is to get to teach English and other subjects abroad before I get my master's! I am proficient in tutoring students in math, reading, writing and science for elementary and middle school, as well as chemistry and biology; though my favorite class to tutor has to be biology or algebra. I firmly believe in teaching students not only the subjects they need help with but also how to learn similar things in the future. After all, the real goal of tutoring is to get to a point where it isn't needed anymore! In my free time, I am an avid reader and baker, and I am currently teaching myself how to figure skate.
