10+ years of tutoring
Ella
- I firmly believe in teaching students not only the subjects they need help with but also how to learn similar things in the future.
- After all, the real goal of tutoring is to get to a point where it isn't needed anymore!
About Me
I am currently a Biology Pre-Med student at Kent State University and I am getting my minor in ASL. I work as a tutor both here and for my college and am working towards getting my CRLA Level 1 certification. I enjoy teaching and I hope to be able to help as many people as possible; my goal for the future is to get to teach English and other subjects abroad before I get my master's! I am proficient in tutoring students in math, reading, writing and science for elementary and middle school, as well as chemistry and biology; though my favorite class to tutor has to be biology or algebra. In my free time, I am an avid reader and baker, and I am currently teaching myself how to figure skate.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy baking, reading, and the amazing outdoors. When the weather is nice I can often be found taking a walk on a trail near a river or relaxing in the sunshine. While it is cold outside I am trying to learn how to figure skate!
