About Me

I am a current student at Georgia State University and also a paraprofessional for Fulton County Schools. I will receive my Bachelor of Arts in Middle Level Education with a minor in Count. I have worked tutoring children in Georgia for the "No Child Left Behind" program; worked as an after school teacher for three years tutoring students in elementary schools; taught students as a paraprofessional currently for four years; tutored students in English/Language Arts and Math for three years. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Math. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) prepping for the Critical Reading and Writing portions of the exams. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, yoga, running, and watching sports all day. Hobbies: dancing, writing, yoga, reading, music, running, art, sports, books
