However, due to the pandemic, I did the internship through zoom, so I gained experience with teaching online as I created lessons, helped the kids with test corrections, homework, and in-class activities. I worked with the students multiple times a week, either in groups or individually. Additionally, after my senior year, I tutored a middle schooler in various subjects, including English, math, history, and science. As I teach students, I seek ways to make learning enjoyable. I create lessons that are tailored to their learning styles, utilize their strengths, improve their weaknesses, deepen understanding, and keep them engaged. I also try to impart learning habits that will benefit them as they continue their education. While I tutor a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about English and history. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, hiking, reading, writing for my blog, and cooking.

I enjoy visiting coffee shops, reading books that enrich my life, writing about topics that interest me, engaging in meaningful conversation, and serving those I love.
