About Me

I am a graduate of Troy University where I double majored in Political Science and Communications Studies. After completing my undergraduate degree, I moved to Chicago where I received a masters degree in teaching. I am currently a full-time special education teacher on the Southside of the city. I am passionate about literature, english, and history. I enjoy making science come to life for my students. There is no better way to master a subject than by immersing yourself in it. I believe education should be equitable and exciting. Educators who demonstrate a thirst for knowledge have the ability to inspire lifelong learners. I look forward to helping each student find a subject that makes them feel excited to learn!
