About Me

My passion is helping children learn at their own pace while building confidence and motivation! I am a mathematics expert for students in grades pre-K through 8th grade. My career includes four years working a tutoring Center Director for students ages 4-15 in reading, writing, mathematics, and study skills. For eight years I worked in private homes supporting the learning needs of each child for both their school work and individual tutoring to catch up, keep up, and get ahead. I hold a B.A. from DePaul University and M.A. from Northwestern University with an emphasis on social sciences and human development. By drawing on my background in human development, I work to promote healthy learning behaviors, habits, and mindsets while mastering new content in the ways that best suit each individual student!
