About Me

Hello! I am an elementary school teacher in Atlanta, Georgia! I have been teaching ESOL for 4 years but spend time assisting in math, science and social studies. I am ready to tutor elementary subjects as well as Adult ESOL. I understand that some concepts are really hard but there are always ways for us to learn! I can't wait to help you figure it out and learn in fun and innovative ways. I hope you can trust me to guide you in your education journey! I have a Masters Degree in TESOL and Elementary Education from Lee University in Tennessee. I believe that all students are capable of learning but we just have to find the way that works for them. One of my favorite quotes is, "if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." I truly believe that all students are able to thrive in whatever they want, we just have to find the way to help them learn. I plan adaptive and engaging tutor sessions while working on a student's goals. I will work alongside the student to fill in gaps in knowledge while building independence and confidence.
