I am working towards getting my Master's in Actuarial Science from Boston University. My student teaching internship was with a geometry class, and that also happens to be my favorite subject to tutor. I can also tutor algebra 1, pre-calculus, calculus 1, and other math subjects listed on my profile. I strongly believe that math is an integral part to becoming a well-rounded individual because it not only teaches concrete ideas, but it also teaches students problem-solving skills that can be applied to other disciplines as well. I am a former college softball player, and I have been involved with softball since I was 4 years old. Aside from math, I am a huge history buff. If i ever end up in the classroom, I know I will find a way to intertwine the two subjects.
