About Me
I am a fourth-year student at UGA working on a dual major in English and Economics while moving towards grad school for studies in Writing and Literature. While I am glad to use my experience in Economics to help students with math, I believe an understanding of the English language is an immensely important factor supporting a student's education, and one often disregarded. I hope to help students get a grasp of not just the simple rules, but why they are important to the effective communication they will be using for the rest of their lives, whether that be through understanding the basic grammar of our language or through the effective formatting of academic writing. My philosophy is that every apparent mistake is a clear opportunity for progression; every time I struggled with an assignment or made a bad grade in school showed me clearly what to do and how to improve my skills in the subject. I live a full life outside of school as well, spending a lot of time outdoors with my friends mountain biking or hiking, and when I can't get away to the mountains, I keep up with my local contact boxing club.
