About Me

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics. While in school, I made it a point to take the most challenging math courses possible. I taught mathematics in the public school system for three years at the Middle and High School levels. Teaching is my passion. I find the greatest joy in helping my students reach their goals and become strong in math, especially when they believe that they are not naturally good enough to ever succeed in mathematics. I love when I work with a student who begins with the belief that they will never perform well in their math courses. Watching them learn, grow, and develop confidence in themselves is very special.
