About Me

Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile, I would like to share with you a little bit about myself, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have! I received my bachelor of science in Mathematics in 2016 and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics. While in school, I made it a point to take the most challenging math courses possible. I taught mathematics in the public school system for three years at the Middle and High School levels. Teaching is my passion. I find the greatest joy in helping my students reach their goals and become strong in math, especially when they believe that they are not naturally good enough to ever succeed in mathematics. I love when I work with a student who begins with the belief that they will never perform well in their math courses. Watching them learn, grow, and develop confidence in themselves is very special. For the students that already have confidence in themselves when it comes to their math abilities, I have no trouble pushing them to their limit, being tough on them so that they can reach their true potential. I do not view tutoring as simply helping a student through questions, my job is to empower the student to be able to solve these problems on their own and have the belief that they can reason through any problem no matter how challenging.
