My career in education has afforded me many opportunities to work with students at the preschool through undergraduate levels. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education as well as graduate degrees in both Reading and Educational Leadership and Technology. More recently, I completed a Doctor of Education degree. While I tutor a wide range of academic subjects, I have a significant interest in facilitating comprehension of material read and strengthening student written response. I am an advocate of bridging the gap between what students know and what they need to know. In my spare time, I practice yoga, read for enjoyment, and take pictures of healthy dishes I have prepared.
