( Passed the IL state teaching license exam for elementary education in August 2020) As an English and Reading Tutor, online and in person, I focus on students' specific academic goals and interests. I am currently completing a masters in early childhood education from National Louis University. From age two, I was fascinated with stories, characters and imagination and excelled in talented and gifted language arts throughout school. I have written features and news for several publications (Google my name for published work) - I have been with Varsity Tutors for two years, with the privilege of working with more than two dozen students in areas of reading, grammar, writing, spelling and ACT English. I am experienced with GED test prep, adult learners, and ADHD. I am sensitive to students with general anxiety and transitional situations - I am very outgoing, patient and fun and make lasting connections with my students. I currently tutor grades Pre K through Adult Learners.
