About Me

My belief is that anyone can learn. We all learn in different ways. In life when we set clear goals and bring a ready mindset, our goals are ready to become a reality. My teaching style is based on honing in on the multiple intelligences. I implement a well structured learning hour. A lesson will consist of modeling for the student, student practice by motivating students and focusing on their strengths while gently helping them with their academic weaknesses. In the last five minutes of each session, I incorporate writing in a journal, so students can write down goals and ideas about their school day or even one new concept they have learned and mastered. Later on in time, students can read their journal and see how much they have accomplished!
