About Me

I am a musician, a writer, and a word lover, originally from rural Northern Michigan but currently enjoying city life in Manhattan. I love to help students improve, whether for the sake of a class, a standardized test, or just a desire to hone their skills. If you're looking for help with your reading comprehension and writing skills, interested in growing your vocabulary and perfecting your grammar, or need some help with English class, literary analysis, or essay editing, I would love to help bring out the best in you as a reader and writer. If you're in the first few levels of French study and would like help improving your spoken, written, and reading skills, I can help with that, too. If you have a standardized test coming up, I can help you prepare for the SAT Verbal and Writing, ACT English, Reading, and Writing, or AP English Language and Composition exams. I can help you to understand the material and build strategies to succeed.
