About Me

I am a graduate of North Park University. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education with a middle school endorsement in Social Science. I currently hold a Professional Educator License. During my time at North Park, I had the privilege of tutoring my peers in Statistics as well as elementary students in reading and writing. Being a teacher candidate allowed me the opportunity to teach various age groups and subjects areas including 3rd and 4th grade English, Literature, and Write, and 6th-8th grade Literature, Social Science, Mathematics, and Test Prep. While I have experience with a variety of subjects, I am most passionate about Mathematics and Literature. Test Prep is also a wonderful time of expanding how students think and a great opportunity for encouragement and fun. I truly believe that helping students acquire the skills to be lifelong learners and helping them to see how education along with their personal interests makes them a valuable asset to society, is the foundation to great teaching. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and trying new things, baking, singing, and reading. Hobbies: books, reading, writing, traveling, music, singing, baking, art, travel
