About Me

I am a graduate of UCLA having earned by Bachelor's in both Economics and History. My experience with teaching has come in the form of both training co-workers one-on-one at Deutsche Bank as well as giving group lessons to UCLA students on the subjects of public speaking, debate, and negotiation. I have also worked with UCLA students on essay writing. I tutor a wide range of topics. In terms of High School academics, I can tutor for the SAT and SAT subject tests, multiple AP classes including History, English, and Poly Sci, and general High School courses including History, English, Economics, Social Studies, and Geography. Outside of the High School Classroom, I can tutor for college essay writing, public speaking, reading, and general writing skills. The subjects that I am most passionate about tutoring are history, economics, and geography. My teaching style consists of compartmentalizing any topic into small, manageable pieces of information, then putting together the big picture once the parts are understood. I will also only start a lesson at the point where a student can confidently understand the information and then work forward from there. In my spare time I enjoy running, reading military history, and watching as many different films as possible.
