About Me

I am very passionate about chemistry and will begin working for my PhD this fall at the University of Maryland. In the meantime, I am excited to be back in Manhattan to tutor students in chemistry, biology, physics and mathematics. I have had a love for math and science for a long time and believe that the problem solving skills needed to crack these subjects are critical for students looking to be successful in whatever field they choose to pursue. For this reason, I push my students to not only master the material, but also teach strategies to recognize problem structures that will help them tackle new material in the future. In my spare time I enjoy playing soccer and traveling. I have spent a good deal of time in South America and am always looking for excuses to return. I truly enjoyed tutoring students in chemistry during college, but as a graduate of Beacon High School in Manhattan I am excited to be back in the City and working with New York's next round of science and math enthusiasts.
