About Me

I have been in education since 2003 and taught in the public school system for the last 16 years as a classroom teacher, and 4 years abroad in China and Thailand. My teacher certifications are in General Education, Special education, and English as a Second Language. I also have a Masters Degree in Education Administration and Leadership. I received my Bachelor's from Texas State University, Teaching Certificates through Huston-Tillotson University, and Master's Degree from Capella University. I have taught 3rd grade for 16 years, and one-year as a 4th grade Science and Social Studies teacher. My philosophy of education is that all students can learn. I believe through motivation and hard work students will achieve, when high standards are set and students receive consistent feedback.
