About Me

I received my B.A. from Columbia University in English. I have tutored students in both Math and English. I have also taught classes in Creative Writing, as well as classes in Improvisational Comedy and Public Speaking. I tutor students in English, Creative Writing, Literature, History and Public Speaking. My favorite subject to tutor is Creative Writing, as it has been a passion of mine throughout my entire life. My approach to tutoring is to do it with all the seriousness and focus it requires, while always being sure to lighten it a bit with a sense of humor (I got my start as a comedy writer while at Columbia). I have varied interests outside of tutoring, all of which tend to run toward the artistic. I am an avid film-goer and a regular attendee of the theater. I also like to attend visual art shows. In my free time I continue to study Creative Writing while also working freelance as a story analyst for several movie studios.
