After working for two years, I attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, earning a Ph.D in Genes and Development. My studies there were focused on Immunology, Cancer and Genetics. Since graduation, I have worked in the biotech industry, lectured in Microbiology and am currently doing research on vaccine development. I enjoy one on one teaching, and just discussing science in general. It's always a thrill when the light goes on for someone. I am a follower of all fields of science and technology, and try to incorporate new ideas into my work at all times. In my spare time, I build computers, read history and science fiction and go to movies with my wife.
