About Me

I have a BA in Math from Wittenberg University and a Masters in Applied Statistics from the University of Alabama. I have been tutoring part-time for 8 years in Austin, TX and now here in Denver. I tutor the following subjects: algebra, discrete/finite math, geometry, and statistics (business, psych).My approach is to tutoring is about one thing: relatability. I really try to understand the student's issues and identify with them. This puts the student in a comfortable place, where no question feels like a dumb question. Once you get there, you can make real progress. Personal interests: sports of all sorts (i'm a huge Colts, Pacers, Dodgers, and Crimson Tide fan), gaming, snowboarding, reading crime fiction, watching pretty much everything on Comedy Central.
