About Me

I have a B.S. in Physics from MIT, and a M.Sci. in Astrophysics from UC Santa Cruz, where I conducted research on black holes and exoplanets. I've been doing (and teaching) high level math and physics full time during my stint in grad school, and look forward to passing on my expertise to you. I have extensive teaching experience, with subjects ranging from basic math, to SAT and GRE test prep, to college- and graduate-level physics. I've worked with high school students, 10 year olds, and folks old enough to be my parents, all with great success. If you find math and physics difficult, and are looking for a tutor who can demystify them for you: I would love to help you out! If you love math and physics, and have exhausted other teachers' knowledge but would still like to learn more: I would also love to help you out! In addition to wielding math and science skills for fun and profit, I design and sew clothes whilst half-listening to podcasts about history and technology.
