About Me

I have a Masters in Public Health from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. I received my Bachelor of Sciences in Pre-Medical Studies at Philadelphia University. I also got a post-baccalaureate from Drexel University in Pre-Medical Sciences which has exposed me extensively to all sorts of clinical and gross anatomy and physiology. I work as an Anatomy and Physiology Lab Instructor at Philadelphia University. I also work in the life sciences industry working with knee and hip implants. I also tutored as a work study during my undergraduate career in A&P I and II. I am most passionate about science, environmental health, and health policy. I am used to using all kinds of tools to teach students the material. I am proficient in personality and learning skills typing which helps me customize the tutoring experience for my students. I am passionate about the use of technology so expect to use many technological tools for educational purposes. In my experience helping struggling students prepare these tools can be of great help breaking the ice into the material before and after sessions. I am a firm but kind in my teaching ability and I promote and encourage students to understand the material in a way that is always interesting and applicable to their daily lives. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, writing, listening to music, and watching TV shows.
