I am a recent MBA graduate, born and raised in Colombia, South America. I started tutoring while getting my undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland and did it for 2 and half years. I used to tutor Spanish, of course, and Math, my favorite subject ever since I was little. I decided to tutor at school because they needed someone who could tutor Spanish because they did not have anybody and a lot of students were asking for help; the school contacted me and offered me the job. I had never tutored anybody before I started, but I decided to give it a try since I am very friendly and outgoing and it worked out so well that I stayed with the program until the day I graduated. Tutoring, for me, is a way to share the knowledge I have with others that have similar difficulties to the ones I may have in other subjects. I enjoy teaching very much because it feels to me like I am giving back to the community and the country the knowledge and experience I have received since I moved from Colombia.
