I am excited to be working with Varsity Tutors. I currently teach middle and high school social studies at Bishop Dunne Catholic School in Dallas. I teach 8th Grade US History, Spanish 3, AP Microeconomics, and Economics. I also have experience tutoring middle school Math while in college.

I am working on my masters in autism as well. I have been a in education, both teaching in public schools and tutoring for over 30 years! I am also certified to prepare students to take the College Board's AP French Language and Culture exam. My AP students have consistently earned 4s and 5s on this rigorous test. My favorite thing about teaching French is to meet a student with no knowledge of French and watch her/him go on to study in France, become fluent in the language and then take a degree in it. I love to inspire.

I am a graduate of Pepperdine University and am currently pursuing a PhD in International Relations at UNT. I have always had a passion for learning and knowledge, and I hope to impart that passion to others through tutoring. My academic interests include languages, politics, and literature. In my free time I enjoy to read, watch films, and travel when I can. I spent a year studying in Lausanne, Switzerland.
