I'm currently in graduate school pursuing a Masters in social work from The Ohio State University and have a BA in community education from the University of West Florida. I'm passionate about education and providing equal access to education. I believe in strengths based approaches, and love to make learning fun and engaging by utilizing a student's passions and skills.

I am a tutor, but I am also a mentor. While I believe education is of utmost importance, I also believe a student needs to find value in their education. I don't tutor to help students get the assignment done, I tutor to help develop respect for learning.

I'm currently wrapping up my master's thesis from Wesleyan University in Planetary Science. I have been a teaching assistant all through grad school and through much of my undergrad, as well as attending numerous outreach events for students in K-12 school and learning about pedagogy for my degree.
