I am a Computer Engineering and Computer Science student in the honors program at Northeastern University who has always had a passion for teaching others.

...am on a Pre-Med track. I grew up just outside of Boston in a Russian immigrant family. I grew up speaking Russian and learning math with family as a means of communication and bonding. I developed a passion for problem-solving and learning from a young age which followed me into my teen years.

...not just WHAT to learn. I always emphasize hard work - because you always get what you work for. I don't care about natural intelligence, because trying your best and being persistent is the key to learning and improvement. My favorite part of teaching is seeing the student understanding a concept for the first time.

I'm a University of Massachusetts Amherst, B.S. Biochemistry and Neuroscience candidate. I tutor STEM subjects and I've been a TA in some of my college courses. My tutoring philosophy is to let the student guide the tutor in what they want to be taught and for the tutor to step in when necessary.
