Even though I've always taught, on some level, as a T.A., a private tutor, a classroom teacher, or a friend, I tried different jobs in the private sector for several years. English Composition, Literature, and Research, the majority of my teaching time was in college preparatory curricula. I make a room comfortable when I come in but if it needs energized, I energize it.
