I hold a Bachelors of Science in Biology and have worked as a tutor for over four years and have tutored students ranging from Elementary to College. I have tutored in many areas from Algebra to Reading Comprehension. My degree helps in my tutoring abilities as it allows me to utilize all my skills in the areas of Math, Science and English all at once. I help students in classes by helping them to utilize their knowledge through practice problems which I create to help them increase their comprehension within areas such as math.

I am a huge advocate for higher education and investing in our next generation. Out of 20 aunts and uncles and 60 first cousins I am the first in my family to graduate college. I believe in empowering individuals and showing them how to become successful in their specific discipline. Honesty is the best policy. My life is an open book and I am glad to be a role-model and have a positive impact on other lives, I count it a privilege to be in this position.

I have been an educator since 1992 beginning my career as substitute teacher, and ultimately obtaining my Master's Degree in Education Administration. I have taught all grade levels from 1st grade through 12th grade in English Language Arts. I have also been a high school Dean of Discipline and an Elementary school principal.

As a goal-driven, hardworking Corporate Leadership Development Member at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, I am looking to enrich the minds of those around me for the betterment of society. I want to pass on knowledge gained from both my educational and work experience to students at various levels. I am excited to prepare these students to be the innovators and creators of the future!

I received a Bachelor of Health Science with minors in English, math, and chemistry from the University of Miami in Spring 2015. When I was there and learning any new information or studying for a test, I always ended up speaking aloud as if I was teaching a classroom. If you include this as tutoring or teaching experience, I have a much higher number of hours than those indicated on my resume. If this does not cut it, I have worked with students from elementary through high school to meet their educational goals through various volunteer organizations in college. I am happy to be able to continue doing the work that I have enjoyed so much.Despite my efforts to tutor myself as I have described, I often needed or just wanted a tutor to help me with my goals. As I have sat in front of a tutor many times, I know what mistakes students often make and how students often feel. Through great experiences teaching English in Chiangmai, Thailand for two months and tutoring Calculus I and II through Princeton University's McGraw Tutoring program for two years, I have come across many learning styles and have developed a love for teaching. My strengths include standardized testing, Spanish, Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus) and ACT/SAT/CLEP prep. I have experience working with students who are in grades K-College.

Throughout college, I have volunteered with numerous education equity organizations dedicated to helping children from challenging socioeconomic backgrounds thrive in school; taught Reading to students K-8, taught for a summer enrichment program , and worked as a group tutor for data science at university. This occurred for three years while I reviewed statistics for the university's admission office.Fast forward to 2013, when I started my matriculation to gain my Masters of Finance at University of Rochester, I tutored my fellow classmates and other students at the university that needed help with differential equations and calculus based questions.I have experience working with Mathematics for years, and Finance (I have six years career experience) and am excited to tutor you the students!

As a student, I have always liked to challenge myself intellectually and learn subjects that are beyond my comprehension. My joy of teaching has led me to impact so many young lives at only 18 years old and I hope to continue doing so.
