I graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a journalism degree and have since written for various local and national magazines. Over a short period of time, I worked my way up to an editor and began teaching at writing workshops. Writing has always been a major part of my life and I want to help students to become better writers as I believe it can open many doors.

As a tutor, I approach each student differently as all students have the capability to learn well, but each student learns differently. I like to take time to engage the student not only with problems to solve, but also with conversation making sure that they not only understand each step in the process, but also are able to apply what they learn in their own unique way to perform well and grow as students.

I am an educator passionate about helping students understand not only complex problems in school, but to see how what he or she is learning makes a difference in their world.
