Helping students grow and succeed is incredibly rewarding for me; I'm passionate about tutoring because I love witnessing the transformative journey students take as they build skills and gain confidence. I have two years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to children ages 6-12, where I focused on reading, writing, and grammar through engaging activities and games. This role honed my ability to make learning accessible and fun, and I carry that approach into all my tutoring sessions.

Currently, I'm majoring in Social Science with a track in International Relations and minoring in Sociology and Global China Studies at NYU Shanghai. I tutor reading, writing, and American History, with a particular love for history, which I see as a vast, interconnected story. I am an avid writer due to the nature of my major and minors, and would consider my expertise to be academic writing. My teaching philosophy is student-centered and adaptiveI strive to understand each student's learning style and make complex subjects approachable. Outside of tutoring, I'm an avid reader, a food enthusiast, and a fan of theater. These interests keep me engaged and curious, qualities I bring into every tutoring session.
