As a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering at Virginia Tech with over nine years of experience in teaching, tutoring, and research, I bring both deep subject-matter expertise and a passion for helping students succeed. Throughout my academic journey, I have provided individualized support to students across a range of disciplines, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering. At Auburn University, I worked as an academic tutor for four years, where I developed tailored lesson plans, facilitated group study sessions, and helped students build confidence in their problem-solving abilities. Later, as a graduate teaching assistant at Virginia Tech, I mentored over 50 undergraduate students in senior design courses, combining technical instruction with collaborative learning strategies.

My teaching philosophy is student-centered and results-driven. I believe in meeting learners where they are and helping them build the skills and mindset needed to grow. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, I foster an encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges. My technical strengths include proficiency in Python, MATLAB, statistics, and machine learning, and I take pride in breaking down complex topics into clear, digestible steps.
