During my academic journey, mathematics presented significant challenges for me. The initial frustration of not grasping concepts immediately and the arduous effort required to maintain my progress were constant companions. However, over time, with the appropriate discipline and support, I came to realize that mathematical proficiency is not solely dependent on innate gifts. It lies in developing specific thought patterns, acquiring skills systematically, and cultivating the resilience to persevere despite obstacles. This transformative experience profoundly impacted my life, and it serves as a primary motivation for my passion in assisting individuals in their mathematical development and beyond.
Presently, I hold the position of an engineering/technology leader specifically working on the virtual reality (VR) field, possessing a robust foundation in applied mathematics and sciences. My expertise encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, statistics, quantitative methods, programming languages, physics, and other scientific fields. These skills are seamlessly integrated into my daily work, and I derive immense satisfaction from demonstrating how these concepts manifest in practical and real-world applications.
I hold degrees in Electrical Engineering and possess extensive experience not only in utilizing mathematics professionally but also in facilitating students' comprehension of the subject matter. My work has encompassed learners at various levels, ranging from beginners to those tackling advanced topics. Throughout my interactions, I consistently prioritize meeting students where they are in their understanding. My preferred areas for tutoring include algebra and calculus, as they serve as the bedrock for numerous other concepts. Once students attain a deep understanding of these subjects, their confidence tends to flourish significantly.
My tutoring approach is characterized by a calm, encouraging, and clarity-focused demeanor. I firmly believe in fostering comprehension rather than mere memorization of procedures. I break down complex concepts, employ real-world examples, and actively encourage students to pose questions and engage in problem-solving discussions with me. My ultimate objective is for each student to leave my sessions not only with the ability to solve problems but also with a profound understanding of the underlying principles that underpin their solutions.
Beyond tutoring and engineering, I am an avid enthusiast of various fields, such as technology, commercial aviation, space exploration, design, and artificial intelligence. I derive great pleasure from identifying connections between these interests and the subjects that students are currently studying. Above all, I aspire to empower the students I work with to feel capable and supported in their pursuit of mathematical knowledge. While mathematics may not initially come effortlessly, I firmly believe that with the appropriate guidance and assistance, anyone can achieve their goals.

Outside of teaching and engineering, I’m a curious person by nature and enjoy exploring a wide range of interests. I love reading—especially about science, technology, and business leadership —and I’m always tinkering with smart home gadgets or building things on the computer. I also make time to get outdoors whenever I can, whether it’s hiking, biking, or just enjoying a new place while traveling. Music has always been an important part of my life too—it helps me focus, unwind, and connect. These hobbies not only keep me balanced but also give me creative ways to connect with students, especially those with shared interests.
