Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping students build literacy skills, grow in confidence, and reach their academic potential.

I have taught Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies to middle school students and currently serve as a high school Literacy Coach. I provide instructional support to both students and teachers, lead professional learning, and specialize in data-informed strategies that improve reading outcomes. I have a proven track record of helping students make measurable growth, including being recognized on the Pointe Coupee Wall of Fame for high academic gains.

I tutor English, Reading, Social Studies, and ACT English and Reading prep. My favorite subject to tutor is English because it allows students to discover their voices and engage with texts in meaningful ways. My tutoring style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each student's learning needs. I focus on breaking skills into manageable steps, using both traditional and digital tools to create interactive, effective lessons.
