Certified Tutor

I will be facing my first year at Emory University. I have a secure passion for math. I scored a 750 on my Math SAT. I have taken advanced math courses such as AP Calculus and AP Statistics. (If your student is an international student, I can practice fluent Korean. I have taught Korean for 20+ tutoring hours.)

I am capable of helping students with the SAT, Korean, their homework, upcoming tests, lessons, and projects.

I have tutored 9-10th grades in high school for the past two years. The main subject that I tutor is math. With my students, we worked on time management and making sure basic rules were understood for advanced questions. Students who were previously confused about the lesson told me they understood it better after our lesson. I make sure students understand the concept and guide them to utilize it further. Furthermore, the experience of preparing teaching material for school club members has prepared my skills to teach. I have also taught grammar and helped with essays as part of my tutor. Besides math, my students would come to find me with their English essays or grammar IXLs.

Students who were failing their grade in math saw a difference. Helping students with their essays made their work more impactful. I believe my strong suit which lies with math and SAT will benefit your student.
