I'm in my final semester of a degree in English and History at Bethel University, and next year I'll enter a graduate program in English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University. I'm passionate about reading, writing, history, journalism, geography, and languages, and I have experience teaching/tutoring in all of these areas. From tutoring video editing to college students to leading an elementary English class in Cuellaje, Ecuador, I love getting to know students individually and helping them to develop their strengths and interests.

In my spare time, I read, play guitar, and travel as much as I can. I've interviewed, researched, and read for a journalism project in India, spent a summer teaching English in Ecuador, and studied English and History abroad in New Zealand, and all of these experiences have fed into my desire to experience life to the fullest. I love learning about other people's experiences and expanding my vision for my own future. I hope to be a writer or journalist after finishing my masters degree so that I can continue learning and researching for the rest of my life.
