Hi, my name is James, and I am currently a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Central Florida, graduating in May 2025. I have a strong passion for teaching and tutoring. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Physics, Math, History, and most Sciences. I have experience tutoring students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as at the college level through a peer tutoring program provided by my university.

During my engineering studies I have taken advanced mathematics and physics courses that have provided me with the knowledge to tutor effectively. These courses include: calculus I-III, differential equations, classical mechanics (physics 1), electromagnetism (physics 2), thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.

I love helping students who are struggling with difficult subjects. My goal is to make these topics easier to understand and show students that they can succeed. I find great joy in seeing students gain confidence and begin to enjoy subjects they once struggled with. I believe that education is about more than just teaching - it's about building trust and helping students believe in themselves.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking, playing guitar, video games, reading, watching movies, and sports.
