I have had an exciting and rewarding career as a senior executive with nonprofits and private foundations. In these roles, I was able to support leaders in developing or expanding their services and build relationships with other leaders.
I served as a mentor volunteer with SCORE, a national organization that helps new business owners get through the steps of setting up their business. I also volunteer with my church's outreach programs and belong to a breast cancer survivor support group.
I graduated from Fisk University in Nashville, TN majoring in Sociology and later received a masters degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
In 2022, I published my memoir, "More Than A Conqueror, My Journey through Breast Cancer". As a tutor, I want to encourage and support students to gain the knowledge and skills needed so they can successfully complete their courses. It's also important to support students in building their confidence and communication with other students and teachers. My goal is "Student First"!
